MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP OF THE SAN FRANCISCO DOLPHIN
SOUTH END RUNNERS CLUB (DSE ”Or the Club”)

Place: Dutch Windmill, San Francisco, CA
A meeting of the general membership of the San Francisco Dolphin South End Runners Club was held at the above date, time and place, pursuant to notice duly given in the DSE News.
21 members and the following club officers Sr. VP Adrian Jue, 2nd VP George Sacco, Secretary Sam Roake and Treasurer Wendy Newman were in attendance.
Adrian Jue called the meeting to order at 10:30 am. Sam Roake recorded the minutes of the meeting.
The general membership reviewed and unanimously approved minutes of the March 11, 2007 General Meeting.
Officer’s Reports
James O’Donnell presented a 2009 RRCA Convention Bid report. He stated 5 committees have been formed toward securing the 2009 RRCA convention bid. All consortium clubs have agreed to initial $250 starter money to get the convention bid funded. This motion was approved.
Treasurer Wendy Newman distributed an updated 2007 Double Dipsea Income/Expense report. Estimated net income as of 7/22/07 is $2954
New Business
The Board of Directors’ amendment was finalized and approved by the club members.
Other Items from the Floor
Kevin Lee introduced factual information with the present Practice Dipsea Race attendance vs. race permit cost. 2008 Practice Dipsea status was discussed with the following conclusions. Effective the 2008 Practice Dipsea Race entry fee will increase to $10 with added race upgrades: Course markings and aid station improvements.
Kennet De Silva introduced the proposal to designate funds for the Sri Lanka Running Programs. A motion was introduced and approved in 2008 to designate both Windmill 10K net race receipts to this charitable endeavor.
There were 7 special "Best Volunteer Double Dipsea Awards" presented by Ken Reed. Bobby Marty and Tom Pang were the last two to receive their honors.
2007 Best Volunteer DD Award recipients: Gene French, Vince French, Jim Kauffold, Bobby Marty, Tom Pang, Brierly Reybine and Bill Woolf.
